Tactical Earpiece Comparison

This is a sound test comparing the traditional Hollow Coil with our Alpha Ultra Light. For this test, conditions were exactly identical for each behind the ear listening device. The music, volume, and proximity to the microphone are identical for this comparison.

Hollow Coil Click Here To Listen to the Hollow Coil On the Hollow Coil, the speaker sits at the base of the coil. Sound must travel 19 inches from the speaker to your ear. Under high temperature use the Hollow Coil tube is known to have condensation. Resulting in blockage to the flow of sound resulting in a faint or muffled sound and even total sound loss. The traditional Hollow Coil has a tendency to harden and crack due to moisture and body acids. (PCL's Hollow Coil uses a medical grade plastic that does not break down and resists condensation better then the traditional Hollow Coil)

SoundWaves® Ultra Light Click Here To Listen to the SoundWaves® Ultra Light The Patented SoundWaves Ultra Light technique is to place a hearing aid quality speaker directly behind the ear where it can provide the most benefit. The SoundWaves Ultra Light has a polyurethane jacket cable with a Kevlar filler. Sound pinch-off and condensation are eliminated. The 2 inch tube that sits over the ear is a super elastic tubing which resists breakdowns due to body acids.
